Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Ali and I’m a licensed clinical psychologist. I am a Michigan native and currently live and work out of Ann Arbor. I completed my doctoral training at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have experience working with individuals of all ages, in various professional settings, and with a number of different concerns, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, relational and family concerns, identity concerns, women’s issues, and life transitions. No topic is off limits or “too much” in therapy.

I am certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International and specialize in working with those in the perinatal stage (the period of time between pregnancy and a baby’s first year of life), as well as those experiencing fertility challenges. Adjusting to the demands of parenthood is almost always difficult; this transition comes with tricky emotions and can often feel overwhelming and isolating. On top of that, approximately 20% of people experience significant depression, anxiety, intrusive repetitive thoughts, panic, or post-traumatic stress during the perinatal period. These concerns are common and treatable, and therapy can be an invaluable source of support when moving through this uniquely challenging phase of life.

As a psychologist, I believe that everyone has a story to share. I am intentional about building a therapeutic space full of respect, warmth, humor, and trust. This allows my clients to safely explore the patterns in their lives and relationships that contribute to distress. My ultimate goals are to help my clients feel more empowered, tap into their own resiliency, and live more authentic and fulfilling lives. I welcome the opportunity to work with you, and encourage you to come as you are! We are not meant to go through life alone, and you don’t have to do it all by yourself.
